Green Lanes

We have received reports about the use of motor vehicles on the Green Lanes around Arkleside and surrounding area where sadly damage has been caused to the land and gates around the 21st and 22nd February. The Police and Ranger service will continue to monitor and patrol , so we can provide information on legal routes for all users and prevent further unnecessary damage. 

All drivers and riders must ensure the vehicle is fully road legal and show consideration to other users and landowners , travelling slowly and in small groups. This will help protect wildlife and ground nesting birds.
